What is this app? Let's find out in detail!

Recently, the issue of protection of information and privacy in multiple apps has come to the fore. Tensions continue with WhatsApp's new policy. Meanwhile, the Indian government has launched the Sandes app. What is this app? Let's find out in detail.

According to a report, high-ranking government officials are already using the Government Instant Messaging System (GIMS) app. However, there is already an app called Sandesh. So the name of this app has been clarified in gims.gov.in Sandes. To access the app, the GIMS opening page has sign-in LDAP, sign-in with Sandes OTP, and Sande's web options.

There is a big reason behind making this app. According to top government officials, government employees are currently associated with multiple social media apps. There is also the issue of government information and privacy. In most cases, this privacy issue is insecure in multiple chatting apps starting from WhatsApp. There is a strong possibility that information will be spread at any time without knowing it.

And to eliminate this possibility, the Sandes app has been created keeping in mind the needs of government employees and officials. At present, officials of various ministries, departments, and divisions of the government are using the app. However, there is no information on whether this app will be available to the general public.

Needless to say, the credibility of WhatsApp has started to erode due to the introduction of new policies. To handle the situation, the date for implementation of the policy has been changed from February 8 to May 15. Already most users are leaning towards Telegram or Signal. Sanders' debut is significant enough in this situation!

In this case, this Sande's app can run on both iOS and Android platforms. Like other chatting apps, it has a voice and data messaging system. Behind the app is the National Informatics Center (NIC) of the Ministry of Information Technology. The National Informatics Center plays an important role in providing a number of information technology services to the government.
