- WhatsApp Officially Announced Voice Call And Video Call Features
- On Thursday Roll Out This Feature For Desktop
- Group Video Call has Not Supported This Version
Facebook-owned popular messaging app WhatsApp has officially rolled out voice and video call features on desktop.
WhatsApp got one major feature update at the end of
November, but it was not a pretty update as it started to cause issues for a large number of users by causing issues with old text messages, due to a new update which was introduced with the first update to the app released to the
Play Store. The latest update for the app is actually the long-awaited video
and voice calls feature, and it finally has landed on the desktop app. These
calls were previously only available for the mobile app, and they allow two
people to have a quick chat over video or voice, but now they can finally be
had on the desktop app as well, bringing new functionality to the app.
Well, there's still no support for group calls on the
desktop app of WhatsApp. It's for now limited to the Android and iPhone app
versions of WhatsApp. But, the good news is that it's possible to call up
contacts for video or voice calls using the desktop app.
